This intensive is an advanced summer program at Studio 22.
Participation in this intensive is by Director Approval Only.
Dancers must submit an application and attend a technique class for observation by June 4th.
Approved dancers will be notified by June 30th.
The Advanced Intensive was created for our elite level dancers who are looking for a pre-professional summer program. This new level intensive is designed to challenge our dancers and expand their training. Advanced Intensive dancers will work with sought after master instructors and choreographers in the dance industry. They will participate in daily technique class and ballet at least twice a week while gaining exposure to multiple disciplines such as Acro, Ballet, Ballroom, Contemporary, Lyrical, Improv, Jazz, Hip Hop, Jazz Funk, Tap, and Musical Theatre. Students will also have weekly seminars with professionals exploring the possibilities in the dance industry as well as expanding their knowledge in Dance History and Dance Terminology. Advanced Intensive dancers may explore their creativity with Student Choreography projects and assignments. Dancers will perform choreography learned over the 3 weeks during the Showcase with all intensive students on the final day, July 26th.
