Gina Lathrop grew up in Glenview, IL where she began dancing at the age of three and practiced the styles of Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Pom. During High School, she was a four year member of the Glenbrook South Titan Poms Dance Team and an assistant coach for the Glenbrook South Titan Poms Feeder Dance Team. As a Titan Pom, Gina competed in both Pom and Jazz at IHSA and UDA Competitions. Gina continued dancing at the University of Kansas where she was a member of the University Dance Company, a Pre-Professional Company, and received her Minor in Dance in addition to her Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 2019. Throughout college, she spent her summers at home and worked with the Glenbrook North High School Dance Team, where she now works as a Special Education Teacher and coaches the Glenbrook North Orchesis Dance Company. Currently, she is also a graduate student at Northeastern Illinois University and is pursuing her Masters in Special Education. Gina is thrilled to be a part of the Studio 22 Team and cannot wait to share her love and passion for dance with all of the dancers!
